A Life at Stake (1955) is a classic mystery starring Angela Lansbury and Keith Andes. A washed up architect, Edward Shaw (Andes), is lured into accepting a partnership in a real estate venture by a very attractive married woman (Lansbury). The partnership is granted on the condition that Eward is insured as the key person. The venture is backed by her wealthy husband. Overtime, the motives of the financial supporters of the partnership become questionable.



A Bride for Henry (1937)

A classic comedy. An old sea captain, Cappy Ricks, returns from a voyage to find his family and business in utter disarray.



Camille (1921)


A silent romantic drama starring Rudolph Valentino (Armand) and Alla Nazimova (Marguerite). Armand, a young law student, falls in love with, and courts a call girl, Marguerite. Unbeknownst to Armand, Marguerite is ill. This film is based on the 1848 novel La Dame aux Cameliias by Alexandre Dumas, fils. The art deco screen sets in this film are stunning.
